i have feedback on ur writing...write regular sentences, not run-ons, use paragraphs and make it easy to read the post...oh and also turn off the verification on comments, it sucks
For Richard & yosef: First to yosef: Bergman is right. You need to use the correct punctuation or it's not as pleasant to read. Also, is there a way that we too can post divrei torah on your profile? To Richard: Where exactly do you live in Manhattan? Staying jewish is easy if you really want to. There are 3 basic rules/laws that you must obey, and they are (in no particular order): attending shul/temple (orthodox of course)at least every Friday & Saturday. Second, only eating kosher. There are many resturants in the city that are kosher, so no excuses there. If you tell me which block you live on, I can give you a list of the nearest kosher restaurants. And last, observing the shabbat. Although this might be hard, and I know it is, observing the shabbat is the most rewarding and crucial part of living. There are many "kosher" things you can do on shabbat to "burn" time (I write the word burn in parentaces because there is no such thing as burning time. We are blessed for every second that we are living and must be thankful for the time we have. Just look at the shooting that took place this week in Israel. 8 boys in there teens were murdered in a few minutes, teenagers!! Can you believe people say "lets burn time"! pathetic!)like reading a chumash or gemara. If you're not on that level yet, read an english book on the parasha or something like that. I'm in the middle of a new book called Akiva. It's a book written about the life of Rabbi Akiva, and I highly recommend you reading it. Let me know approxtimately where you live and if you're orthodox, reform or conservative & i'll do my best to assist you in anything you need. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.
Heres my feedback. You got to listen to bergman he knows what hes talking about. If you need to learn how to write proper english just check out www.samiamsports.blogspot.com (shameless plug) Anyway, SMOO I LOVE YOU
samiamsports? Sammy, even you don't use correct spelling or grammar, but in the end of the day, its more important to focus on writing interesting articles since we all know that content is king....
